Large, privately-held company seeks its first in-house attorney to work in its corporate headquarters. The successful candidate will be a corporate or business lawyer with 7+ years of diverse experience gained in-house and/or a law firm. The lawyer’s time will be divided evenly between preparing, reviewing and negotiating contracts with customers and suppliers and working with the CEO on business development projects. Additionally, the lawyer will manage the company's compliance with federal and state regulations; managing claims and insurance coverage issues; reviewing and negotiating real estate leases; and addressing employment issues. This is a wonderful opportunity for the lawyer to partner with business people and interface with company employees at all levels.
